Promoting Oral communication skills  Riggenbach and Lazaraton    They   s ug gested some oral activities that can be used in ESL/EFL classroom. The activities are categorized into distinct types. They are drills , performance activities , participation activities , and observation activities.   Unlike reading, writing and l istening activities, speaking r equires some degree of r eal-time exposure to an a udience.   So, as teachers, we have a responsibility to prepare the students as much as possible to be able to speak in English in the real world outside the classroom. The article brings about significance information for us. Therefore, as language teachers must remain open to the new developments in order to provide the best possible instruction for our students. By knowing strategies in teaching oral skills, we can create materials which is best suit us.

Encouraging Critical Reading in the EFL Classroom  By Rosane Correia  Aim of this article : 1.      To present an alternative possibilities for reading activities through sample reading lesson. 2.      Help students to become a more active and more critical readers. What is critical reading?     To read critically involves becoming actively engaged in what we read by first developing a clear understanding of the author’s ideas, then questioning and evaluating the arguments and evidence provided to support those arguments, and  finally by forming our own opinions.   I  found this article very interesting because show us different activites to improve reading skill. As teachers we need to  be  aware about how our students learn" how to  read critically  " , I advise teachers to read this article .
